Medical Direction
Dr. Falcon provides physician-led medical direction for AHCA-licensed health care clinics and cash-pay wellness and aesthetic practices throughout Florida. His oversight includes primary care, PIP and mobile health operations, IV therapy, medical weight-loss and GLP-1/GIP programs, hormone and peptide services, and aesthetic injectables.
His work includes scope-specific protocols and standing orders, practitioner credentialing, APRN and PA supervision, Good Faith Exam and patient-specific ordering workflows, monthly chart and billing review, records-owner and retention requirements, adverse-incident controls, medication sourcing standards, and inspection-ready documentation. He has provided medical director governance through RenuviaMD since 2021 and has developed more than 40 clinical protocols.
Practice
Clinical practice since 1990 spanning primary care, pain, metabolic, aesthetic and regenerative medicine — including more than a decade as an attending at University of Miami Health and Baptist Health South Florida.
He served as a hospitalist at Baptist Hospital, South Miami Hospital, and Kendall Regional Medical Center before moving to outpatient practice.
His clinical work now centres on metabolic and endocrine medicine: type 2 diabetes, obesity, metabolic syndrome, hyperlipidemia, and hormone optimization, including GLP-1 and GIP receptor agonist therapy, alongside peptide and regenerative therapies. He originated the Internal Metabolic Aesthetics framework for GLP-1/GIP planning, and has developed more than forty clinical protocols.
Dr. Falcon works professionally in both English and Spanish.
Clinical Research
Alongside clinical and medical director work, Dr. Falcon is a GCP-certified investigator with experience across the full trial lifecycle — protocol development, IRB submission, recruitment, regulatory compliance, safety reporting, and close-out under ICH-GCP.

Medical Director and Principal Investigator for a Phase I program studying safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics and food effect in healthy, overweight and obese participants and patients with type 2 diabetes.
2021 — 2023
A 52-week randomized, double-blind, placebo- and active-controlled study in COPD and chronic bronchitis, carried through to close-out.

Protocol-lifecycle leadership across metabolic, cardiovascular, and regenerative therapies, including site initiation, monitoring, and close-out.
